(a way to do this in the VM)
One way is to just use the VMs web browser
COMMAND LINE:
first
wget http://jrm4.com/FSU_Courses/LIS4774/Password_Exercise/avatarpeeps.zip
and then
xdg-open ./avatarpeeps.zip
(xdg-open is linux for "try to open this with the right program")
Youll then need to navigate in your terminal to where the files are via cd
